Site Description: A vertical rock site situated on headlands towards the west end of the north coast of Rathlin Island. The location is high cliff extending vertically into very deep water, having a very exposed intertidal at the open sea. Narrow shingle beaches are present between the headlands in narrow inlets. The site is a very exposed vertical face with a ledge in the intertidal. The splash zone extends 7-8 m up the cliff. Razorbills, puffins, guillemots and gulls nest on ledges above the site. Due to the nature of the location, a collection was made with no regard to abundance or shore height. All species are recorded as present, with zone if known.
