Site Description: Bare muddy seabed with scattered shells

Biotope 1 : Level muddy seabed with large quantities of shell debris at surface. Areas of dead Modiolus shells. Occasional small clumps of Modiolus modiolus partly buried in seabed. Holothurians, mostly Thyone roscovita, frequent in muddy areas. Some evidence of dredging as straight-line boundaries between mud with shell and coarser shell-covered areas. Some burrows, probably Nephrops norvegicus.
