Site Description: This is an exposed sandy beach backed by a wall of high sand dunes. It has a fairly steep slope with medium sand at the shore top and coarser, shelly sand towards the bottom. The upper shore was dotted with the holes of amphipod(?) burrows around two distinct strand lines. The site is used for recreation including motor bike riding. In addition to the sedimentary samples, a general collection was made of drift algae (to search for amphipods) and green shells.
