Description:

The site consists of valley side terraces of channelised, trough and planar cross-bedded cobble gravels and pebbly sands. Exposed individual beds in the upper terrace at [C498 102] are steeply dipping (at 25-30° to 040°N) up to 1.5m thick and consist of predominantly well-sorted cobble gravels of visibly alternating clast lithologies.
