Introduction:

Oughtmore Mountain is located approximately 8km NW of Cookstown. The site is on open ground close to the southern margin of Davagh Forest. Site access is via fenced rough pastureland from Slaght Road or from the path which skirts Beleevnamore Mountain at the southern edge of Davagh Forest (Fig. 6). The site contains a variety of structures that are broadly representative of the deformation found throughout the Central Tyrone Inlier.
