Summary of site:

Two mineral exploration companies examined this site in the 1980s and found predominantly copper minerals in volcanic ashes and the local igneous rock, tonalite. The minerals present pyrite (iron sulphide) and chalcopyrite (copper iron sulphide). There is little left at the excavation.
