Summary of site:
The so-called ‘ground bridge' is a feature of the Roogagh River where it flows into the Dartry Limestone and out again over a distance of around 45m. The sink (the point where the river enters) can be explored for around 10m before it floods to the roof. The resurgence is through sandstone boulders which allow little penetration before spaces become too tight for further progress.
