Summary of site:
Ivy Hole is a 10m deep hole in the Knockmore Limestone that takes the flow of a small stream. It is part of a pair of dolines (large depressions caused by the collapse of caves beneath). Dye testing has demonstrated that the water emerges at Carrickbeg.
