Summary of site:

The line of three Seltanacool Sinks is situated in a huge, blind hollow below the boundary of the Meenymore shales above, with the Dartry Limestone. The main sink is a shake hole about 15m deep. A stream drains off the shales and sinks about 5m from the shake hole. Dye testing links it to Carrickbeg. There is a draught blowing through the boulder choke but no easy or obvious way through.
