Summary of site:

This small cave is part of the Boho Cave system. The entrance is at the side of the lane and is normally concealed by slabs. It gives access to a drop into the junction between two passages controlled by natural joint fractures. Both passages are 8m long and one has been artificially enlarged into a souterrain which is a scheduled ancient monument.

For general information on the Boho Caves system see the site record ‘Belmore, Ballintempo & Tullybrack Uplands; Boho'.
