Habitat: Rare. Epiphytic, epizoic at very low littoral to 20 m,
Distribution: Apparently widespread in British Isles: Dorset, Cornwall, Pembroke, Inverness, Down, Antrim. Europe: Mediterranean, Atlantic coast of Spain and France. Further afield: Morocco.
Similar Species: Spermothamnion repens.
