Habitat: Epiphytic in the lower littoral and shallow sublittoral..
Distribution: Generally recorded from south-west coasts of the British Isles. Europe: the Mediterranean, France, Denmark and Sweden.
Similar Species: All species of Aglaothamnion and Callithamnion are similar and not easy to identify.
