Description: Thallus filamentous, erect in tufts to 5 cms long, finely branched.
Habitat: On stones and shells generally in the sublittoral to 14 m.
Distribution: Recorded in the British Isles only from Dorset, Cornwall and Pembroke. Europe: France.
Similar Species: All species of Aglaothamnion and Callithamnion are similar and not easy to identify.
