Description: Filaments microscopic to very small, 2 cms long and reflexed. Uniseriate below,. biseriate or quadriseriate above.
Habitat: Rare. Epiphytic on other algae.
Distribution: Recorded from Dorset in England, Guernsey in the Channel Islands. Europe: Mediterranean, Atlantic coast of France, Helgoland, Denmark and Norway.
