Callocolax neglectus Schmitz ex Batters


Description: A small parasite erect on Callophyllis laciniata, 2 to 4 mm wide or high, irregularly lobed and pale in colour.

Habitat: On Callophyllis laciniata in the sublittoral to 30 m depth.

Distribution: Widely distributed in the British Isles from the Shetlands to the Channel Islands. Europe: Spain, France, Norway and the Faroes. Greenland. Atlantic coast of North America: from Maine to Massachusetts.
