Description: Small uniseriate filaments with prostrate and erect axes growing to 9mm long. Branching variable.

Habitat: Epiphytic on Saccorhiza polyschides sublittoral.

Distribution: Recorded only from the British Isles: Devon and the Channel Islands.

Similar Species: All species of Acrochaetium are very similar, microcopic examination is usually required for identification.
