Description: Very small uniseriate filaments, irregularly branched.
Habitat: Endophytic in the cell walls of Bonnemaisonia hamifera.
Distribution: Probably generally distributed around the British Isles. Europe: Mediterranean, Portugal, Spain, France, Baltic Sea and Norway.
Similar Species: All species of Colaconema and Acrochaetium are similar, microscopic examination is usually required for identification.
