Description: Thallus solid, erect less than 13 mm long and 0.25 mm wide, cylindrical and linear.
Habitat: Very rare. Epilithic in pools of the lower littoral and sublittoral.
Distribution: Recorded only from Dorset, the Isle of Scilly and Argyll. Europe: Mediterranean, Denmark and Germany.
