Description: Minute filaments, branched, to 2 - 5 mm long. Endophytic.

Habitat: Very rare. Endophytic in Stilophora tenella.

Distribution: Few scattered records in England. Europe: France, Baltic Sea, Norway and Iceland. Greenland. Atlantic coast of North America: Canada.
