Description: Very small prostrate axes growing on a Cladophora, each axis of no more than 3-5 cells, occasionally branched.
Habitat: Very rare. Epiphytic on Cladophora, sublittoral to 4 m.
Distribution: Known only from Scapa Flow, Orkney in the British Isles.
Similar Species: All species of Acrochaetium are very similar and microscopic examination is required for identification.
