Description: Thallus with compressed axes to 15 cms long.
Habitat: Very rare. Epilithic or epiphytic in shallow sublittoral.
Distribution: South-western in the British Isles. Recorded from west of Ireland, Cornwall and Wales. Further afield: the Canary Islands.
