Description: An erect bryozoan that forms beautiful lace-like colonies. Usually white, pink, orange or brown in colour. Microscopic examination of features may be required to distinguish this species from other Reteporella.
Habitat: Attached to hard substrata.
Distribution: So far only recorded from Rathlin Island, Northern Ireland. Reteporella species can be hard to distinguish in the field so there are potentially more occurrences of this species.
Similar Species: There are several other species of Reteporella found in Britain and Ireland, microscopic examination of foramen and peristome may be required to distinguish.
