Description: An erect yellow branching sponge which often has the branches partly fused into fans.
Distribution: Found from SW England southwards along continental coasts of the North Atlantic.
Similar Species: This is quite an uncommon sponge, but could be easily confused with Stelligera montagui which has a very variable branching pattern and similar coloration in clean habitats.
